Off road 4×4 driving experience days - cliffs, mud & lakes!
We offer off road and 4×4 Land Rover driving experience days at a LANTRA approved site near Kendal in Cumbria. Overlooking the Lake District, you will get to drive our Landrover Defenders (or an automatic Range Rover for those who want to do less, but in a touch more comfort!) over 300 acres of some of the finest landscape in the UK.
In complete safety, you will be accompanied by one of our fully qualified off road driving coaches, helping you to negotiate steep rocky climbs, mud ruts, grass slopes, water crossings, and cliff descents!
We can adapt your experience to suit you - groups of up to 6 people can all experience the driving thrill. We can cater for anything from 1 hour to a full day, adding other activities to pack your day with enjoyment.
From quad biking to clay shooting, from hovercraft and argo-cat driving to archery we can make sure you have an amazing day. We can ensure that you are fed and watered (catering for groups of up to 160 people!) and have huge amounts of fun!

Prices:
4×4 Fun! - 90 minutes for £100:
Up to 4 drivers each get a chance to drive one of our Land Rovers around a different section of our 300 acre course, including cliff descents, water splashes, mud plugging and the see-saw! Cookies and refreshments included. This session can be combined with other activities - email us for more information.
4×4 Explorer - 3 hours for £185:
Up to 4 drivers each get some simple training in how to keep yourself alive in a 4×4. Some emergency techniques, and just enough learning to be interesting and fun. Really get a feel for what one of these specialised machines will do. Cookies and refreshments included. Can be combined with other activities to make a whole day - email us for more information.
4×4 Complete Experience - 6 hours for £330:
Up to 4 drivers each get a some professional training in how to use a 4×4 vehicle. This is an ideal introduction for those who have just bought their first off roader or Land Rover. We can tailor this course to your needs, including training relevant to your own vehicle. Lunch and refreshments are included in this course.
If you’d like to take turn your day’s training into a qualification, you could take the LANTRA Recreational 4×4 user’s qualification either in our vehicle (£365) or in your own vehicle (£320).
