We provide 4×4 training in Ayrshire in conjunction with Protec Training (see below).

All of our training is undertaken with fully qualified DSA ADIs (fulfilling all of the legal requirements for training) who are also qualified to carry out the LANTRA Professional Qualifications (fulfilling all of the Health & Safety requirements for your drivers and operators).

We also provide LANTRA ATV and Quad Bike Training courses across Scotland, including the Glasgow and Ayrshire area, either at one of our sites, or travelling to your workplace.

Protec 4×4 Fleet & Lantra Training Glasgow and Ayrshire

Lantra 4×4 Training Glasgow

Based near Dalry in Ayrshire, just a few miles from Glasgow, Protec offer professional training for off road drivers and 4×4 users. Collection from Glasgow airport and accomodation can be arranged.

Ken Stewart has many years as an instructor in the armed services and with police forces across the UK. His knowledge and experience is excellent, and his approach to his training is refreshing, engaging and above all – extremely professional. This is why Beyond 4×4 have used Ken for our LANTRA Professional User and Winch training.

The two sites Protec use couldn’t be more different, 1 up in the fells, following rangers tracks and the other in an industrial landscape of a disused open cast mine. Each site provides its own challenges, and makes the driver think carefully about where they put the vehicle.

As Ken is also a qualified ADI, he can legally train 4×4 drivers for on road use (where the majority of collisions, damage and injuries in 4×4 use occur), which is something that very few other professional trainers can offer.
