Beyond Driving are the only national 4×4 training provider who only use instructors who are both LANTRA and DSA Approved Driving Instructors – the best qualified trainers in the industry, and specialists in the field. (4×4 instructor qualifications and 4×4 Instructor Course information)
Some of our instructors are qualified to provide other courses, though for professionals we usually recommend LANTRA 4×4 or RoSPA Off Road Driver certification. We offer both tarmac and all-terrain courses and assessments to satisfy H&S regulations and to make sure your fleet has the most efficient and useful 4×4 drivers around.
Our courses are designed to ensure you fulfil your duty of care under the Health and Safety At Work Act (HASAWA) legislation and Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER). On-road assessment and training (with DSA Registered Trainers) are also required to fulfil Health and Safety risk assessment and risk management obligations. Off road vehicles are outstanding tools to have – we can show you what they will really do. We ensure that candidates understand not only what they can do, but what they should do in a modern workplace. Using vehicles in rough terrain can be hazardous but we can show you how to control these risks with up to date best practice techniques.
On-road driving in a 4×4 is very different to driving a normal car – as DSA Approved Driving Instructors we are one of the few companies with instructors able to legally train drivers how to handle 4x4s on road, under both normal, flood and winter conditions.
